Brief of ENVH311 Assessment

The course is divided into 3 parts. The first one is the Individual Assignments. It is expected that the students will come to class with preparation, and questions and comments are encouraged on the subject matter. The sessions will include two questions related to the readings with the help of the Canvas quiz function (50 pts) and each will have one point. Furthermore, various module syntheses and self-assessment will be used to supplement the self-awareness among the students on a particular topic, followed by assessing comprehension at the end of the module/case. The assignments will be listed on the Canvas website and will be introduced and discussed during class (50 pts).

The next part is the examination. The unit includes two progress assessment tests (100 pts each)—one at the middle and one at the end of the regular class lectures. The test will be cumulative since the basic principles and concepts that have been learned by the students in the early portions of the course will be applied to the problems being examined in the later portions. Each exam will have 50 multiple-choice questions with 2 points each, which will be delivered online with the help of Canvas. Every exam will be taken once, with time being limited to 60 minutes. Further details will be available on the Projects page of the website.
